Laundry Attendant

Location: Wash Bodega - West Bellfort — 6604 W Bellfort Ave, Houston, TX 77035

As a Laundry Attendant at Wash Bodega, you'll help create a clean, welcoming, and reliable laundry experience for our customers. This role is a strong fit for someone who is dependable, friendly, detail-oriented, and willing to take pride in keeping the store running the right way.

What you'll do

  • Greet customers and provide helpful service
  • Help customers with washers, dryers, and payment systems
  • Keep the laundromat clean, organized, and safe
  • Clean machines, folding tables, carts, floors, bathrooms, and customer areas
  • Assist with wash-dry-fold orders
  • Carefully handle, fold, package, and return customer laundry
  • Restock supplies and report issues
  • Follow opening, closing, cleaning, and customer service checklists
  • Communicate customer concerns or machine issues to management

What we're looking for

  • Reliable and on time
  • Friendly with customers
  • Comfortable cleaning throughout the shift
  • Detail-oriented with customer belongings
  • Able to stand, move, bend, lift laundry items, and clean throughout a shift, with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Able to follow checklists and procedures
  • Weekend availability is helpful; scheduled staff coverage is separate from the store's 24/7 customer-access hours
  • English/Spanish customer-service ability is a plus
  • Prior customer service, cleaning, retail, hotel, restaurant, or laundry experience is a plus
